Ingredients
  1. 1 quart of Simple Tomato sauce (recipe below) or store bought marinara, then blend until smooth
  2. ½ cup of Vodka
  3. ½ cup of heavy cream, at room temperature
  4. ½ cup of Parmesan cheese
  5. 1 pound of Penne pasta
Instructions
  1. Simmer the tomato sauce and vodka in a large skillet over low heat , stir often for 20 minutes
  2. Stir in cream, simmer over low heat.
  3. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well blended.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water, boiling until al dente (tender but still firm) about 8 minutes.
  5. Drain the pasta and transfer it to the pan with sauce.
